UMBRELLA CLUB GIFT BENEFITS INFANTS AT GREENWICH HOSPITAL’S NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Clinicians at Greenwich Hospital’s Neonatal Unit now have the most advanced and supportive microenvironment for critically ill infants available today thanks to a $31,620 gift from the Stamford-based Umbrella Club.
The medical equipment – a Giraffe Omnibed is a combination isolette and radiant warmer that is used exclusively in the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit to maintain an infant’s body temperature.
Shown recently at the Hospital Neonatal Unit with Hospital President Frank A. Corvino, second from right, are Umbrella Club members, from left -Joe Gavin, Mike Mezzapelle, treasurer; and Bob Giangoia, president.
